Les Faucons Split A Pair of Game at Rice

Les Faucons took their game to the road, for a pair of games versus Rice in Burlington, Vermont.

The first game was a back and forth affair, with the teams laying the body hot and heavy. They exchanged goals throughout the contest, and were tied 4-4 with 8 minutes left to go in the third period.

At the point, a late surge by Les Faucons led to a pair of goals, leading to a hard fought 6-4 victory.

The second game was much of the same, ending in a 3-3 tie after regulation, unfortunately, Rice scored in overtime, getting the best of Le Sommet 4-3.

“It’s tough to gauge your team’s progress,” explained Coach Shawn Anderson, “when you split a pair of games. The best way to look at it is that we outscored Rice by a goal for the entire weekend.”

Next up for Les Faucons is a pair of games versus the highly skilled Upper Canada College.
