Les Faucons Defend Their Quebec High School Championship

Last year, the Faucons were asked to fill in last minute in this Quebec High School showcase. Because it had an age restrictions many older players were not eligible and the younger players would need to step up to deliver, winning the showcase last year.

The same rules applied again this year and the Faucons would look to their youngsters to deliver once again.

They would breeze through their first three opponents in their division (7-1, 10-0 and 3-1) securing a spot in the finals.

The Faucons 4th game which didn’t matter to them, but would matter to host team Selwyn House in order to get them to the finals would deliver an OT loss to the Faucons (4-3), setting up a rematch in the championship final.

The host team now had confidence and momentum, but the Faucons came out of the gate on fire and would continue this throughout the game handing their opponent a 6-0 loss and winning the championship for a second straight year.
